The Angler

Etched on the window of Rods ‘n Reels in Ramsey is one we have not heard before:

Lo the angler.

He riseth early in the morning and upsetteth the whole household.

Mighty are his preparations.

He goeth forth with great hope in his heart; and when the day is far spent he returneth, smelling of strong drink, and the truth is not in him.

This is of course wholly defamatory and untrue, as any angler will attest.
